{friday confessional}
Greys Anatomy- check. Diet Coke- check. External monitor because my laptop screen is too small to photoshop- check. Time to sit down and let it all go. I haven't confessed in a while lets see how it feels.
I make the bed at 8pm everyday. Right before the hubs gets home from work so he thinks that I am on the ball.
Its all part of my facade.
The other part is the facade is that I just put in a new Scentsy bar in the pot to mask the smell coming from my sink. I didnt feel like doing the dishes. Again.
I also do a mad dash to clean up the house before he comes home too.
Maybe I should put some work into my physical appearance seeing as the house is all lovely now. nah..
I also would like to confess that I let Ryan play with his legos that were supposed to be for Christmas. He was bored and I was running out of ideas.
Time to go link up with Glam, your turn!

Oh my gosh, you are genius! Love that you don't make the bed until nighttime, and so smart about the scentsy!
Thanks for playing!
i love that my husband thinks that making the bed is pointless since it is just gonna get messed up again. i try and make it on the weekends though........
hahahaha made me laugh.
You know its okay to not make the bed or do the dishes right????
It doesn't like, lessen your wifey-ness or mom-ness....
just saying. I hope you don't feel guilty about it.
Ha ha, we let Bennett "open" one of his Christmas presents early, too. He was looking quite bored and in need of a new toy! It's okay, just gave me an excuse to buy something else for him :)
We just pull the covers up sort of neatly and let it go at that. We would just be messing the bed up again that night. To bad dishes can't be done the same way.
Those last few hours are critical aren't they. That's why when they stay home, all fun is out the window because we have to keep the lie alive. And he is young enough, he will be just as excited to see them on Christmas day as he was today. Kids, gotta love 'em.
I'm impressed that you even make the bed- I stopped that facade years ago!
