I also didn't realize I was going to get such a show when I started or I would have moved, I shot this on my 7D with a 50 mm lens, it was my first time doing video!

Weston just cant slow down for a minute. At 5 months he started sitting on his own and army crawling around. The last few weeks he has taken off! Here he is crawling at 6 months old. I love this little guy!




And then there is Ryan. I have never laughed so hard. I love him too!

follow up on the bad mom

I just want to reach through this screen and hug every single one of you. I received the greatest feedback on my last post about the trials of parenting. So thank you, and you, and you, and you!

There is something I do want to clarify though- I hope that no one would ever read that and decide not to have more children. I was this tired and worn out with ONE kid. My deal was not about how hard having multiples are it was just parenting in general- 1 or 10 its all rough. I wouldnt trade anything in the world for the situation I am in now. My sons are the bestest of friends and I LOVE having more than one child. If I had my way every one would have more than one kid- but thats a whole other issue and a highly sensitive one at that, remember this is my blog, my opinions. I just love it so much and I know how much my kids love not being the only one. I want all kids to be happy like mine.

Anyway. Remember how I was having a bad day and all. Well then THESE happened and I went from sad crying to happy crying in seconds. Manic? Nope, just a mom. :)

easter morning with the kidlets

One of the best things about being a parent is creating new family traditions. Especially ones that center around holidays. If we are friends on facebook you will have already seen my rant about how I think the Easter Bunny is pretty much stupid. I have been really trying to figure out how to celebrate our holidays because we are deeply religious AND enjoy the commercial aspects as well. We decided to hide a bunch of candy filled eggs around our house and did a little basket for Ryan. They were from US, there was no mention of a large rabbit around and I was fine with that.

We also went to church and enjoyed the spiritual side of Easter as well. I loved getting us all dressed this morning (okay hubs can dress himself but I did tell him what to wear) We looked better in person I promise- hubs decided to SHAVE his head a few days ago and I had been wrestling children for an hour of church already. However we did have fun. I wish I had a full body shot (said in the classic N.D. movie voice) but I dont. Imagine tan cotton pencil skirt and really high wedges..

The little boys were decked out in Childrens Place and Ryan's shoes are Sperrys- a steal form Nordstrom Rack.

because sometimes there are no words

Ryan was crazy this morning! Running around the kitchen island in circles, growling and "scaring" me, singing silly songs, throwing things. It was mad house. So naturally I pulled out my phone to take a video. Then he calmed down. He is still just as fun to watch, for me that is. So if you care, here is a 2 minute video of Ryan, being Ryan.



I also realized I would fail if this was my day job. Sorry for the shaky quality.

bottled energy

I finally pulled out my camera to take some pictures of the little dude again. I will go through them and post some next week but for now you get a video. We got a micky mouse pool as a house/yard warming gift from some friends and he was just a little excited. Seriously he wears me out just watching this.



Then I found this one of his first try at Pop Rocks. Its a classic.

sGoing on 45 minutes waiting for Ryan to fall asleep and today its quite comical. This is pretty much what it sounds like in there..

Yeah I have no clue what the heck he is doing in there but sometimes I think he tries to purposefully be annoying and loud as possible so can get out of napping, which never works. But he has always learned the hard way. I think our napping days are numbered. Heaven help us all.

To our Mimi

Today is my awesome, sweet, beautiful Momma's BIRTHDAY! She is an incredible woman who I look up to so much, she has lead a wonderful life and I am proud to be hers forever. She is also the best grandma I could ever ask for plus she comes along with a really great grandpa too :)

This is for you Mom, love us- but mostly Ryan cause we all know hes your favorite :)

Yeah he is pretty much crazy and we love him for it. This laugh is so cheesy!

Also, Ryan thinks he is buzz lightyear. We just got a toy story book from the $ section of target (woop woop!) this is the first time hes ever seen anything toy story. He turned to the last page with buzz on it and pointed to himself, then back to buzz then to himself. I asked- Ryan are you buzz lightyear? he yelled YES!!! 

It wasnt a fluke, he did it 5 more times tonight.
