scooter riding. clothing rack hiding. costume test run. hiking with the ergo. breastfeeding teeth check. afternoon cuddles. hand holding on the walk in to school. threaded eyebrows (okay whole face but shhhh). 9 month well baby check.

playing at the beach on labor day with the family. the new-to-me wagon I got at a flea market. my new camera. sick and snuggling in bed with weston. watching my boys wrestle. physically and emotionally drained. hanging in the car. ryan telling me about his day while on a nature walk. playdough. nekkid baby bums. lazy mornings. pack n play licking. sun bathing baby. park time. bath time. so happy I am still nursing.

placeholder, rambling, and the likes

I have so many drafts and lists of things I want to write about. I am just going to ramble for a while because I need a place to let it all go right now.

Its 2:00 am and I will be greeted by two very energetic and needy (of course cute too!) children bright and early in the morning. I wish I could sleep but I am just totally wired.

Car repairs. bahhhhhhhh. nuff said.

Really need to clean the house, like deep clean/white glove.

The biggest stress of all is Ryan's health. I have been thinking he was still struggling with reflux because he wakes up in the middle of the night and pounds 16 oz of water and always wants to eat. Reflux can make you feel hungry and thirsty so I took him in to his dr to get him on prilosec again. he She started asking about his other behavior/symptoms- throwing up a lot, peeing a lot, thirsty, emotional, not growing fast (that one I am not as worried about) and of course totally freaks out when he gets sugary foods. I have noticed he is more lazy than he used to be. Sure he still gets bouts of energy and loves to play but if he has his choice he would stay in his pj's and just lay on the couch (or in my bed) with me ALL day. He doesnt want to go anywhere or have people over (he is fine once we get there though) He just wants to cuddle on me.

So back at the dr's office- she had him pee in a cup. He thought it was the coolest thing ever of course! He had ketones in his urine. Which means his body is burning fat instead of glucose for energy. not good. She gave him another cup for him to use first thing in the morning and then also wanted him to come in for a fasting blood draw. If you google all of those symptoms it points right at type 1 diabetes. SCARY HUH.

We did the tests this morning and waited around all day for the results. I didnt take a shower and never left my phone because I didnt want to miss the call from the dr- we still havent heard anything.

My mommy brain is freaking out. I am a professional worrier. Things will be fine. We will be okay. I just want to know now what the road ahead will look like.

Please keep my sweet baby boy in your prayers, we could use it.

okay that was whinny enough. sorry about that. just frustrated, worn out, sad, and tired now..

I just LOVE him so much I dont want him to EVER be held back by anything.

meeting sophie

So I broke my camera in Utah-- here on out known as one of the worst days ever. Its all fine and fixed now but it was at the shop for over a week before I could go pick it up. I feel like when I dont have my camera in hand I miss moments, I forget emotions and feelings I had during the day. Its like I need a physical reminder I guess. So without pictures there has been no blogging.

Life went on though, Ryan is talking up a storm and saying the craziest things ever. I have no clue where he came up with half of it. Yesterday he stripped to his diaper and did "the diaper dance" which involved wiggling around in a circle while you pull your straps of your diaper off and on to the beat. He kills me every time.

Weston is growing up so fast. He will be THREE months old tomorrow. He is super chunky and is pulling himself to a sitting position and does a nice little ab work out every time we lay him down because he thinks he needs to be sitting up. He has rolled over from tummy to back a few times and *DUN dun dun...he is starting to get teefers you guys! Ryan's first two broke through at 3 months too. I have weird monster babies let me tell ya. West is drooling up a storm, extra spitty, slight fever, runny nose, dry skin... ALL the tall tale signs of teething in this house.

SO without further introduction...

hello instagram

We are avid android users in this house, hubs works for Verizon so we have a lot of phones going in and out of these doors. I have bugged him constantly about when they are getting an android version of instagram. (I hear its soon!) I have been dying to use it since it came out and I am always getting jealous over my friends photos who have it. I at one point I even thought of switching to an iphone so I could have it too. But that would mean getting rid of my widgets and swype texting I wasnt about to do that one.

THEN hubs got his current work phone and the heavens opened and angels sang. It was an iphone. Naturally I stole it right out of his hands and had my own instagram account up and running within seconds. So now I am a huge phone brat and am using my regular android for everything and the iphone when I can sneak it away for my photos and playing on IG.

I have taken over 100 pictures this weekend. Its officially an obsession. You have been warned. I am still playing around with all the cool filters-- whats your favorite ones?
