someone help me!

I need some serious mom advice here ladies (or dads, thats cool too) I feel like I have a monster baby living in my house that sometimes thinks hes 6 months old again. He is back to taking 2 naps a day, he is wanting to nurse constantly, he lays in the middle of the floor on his back kicking and screaming when he gets frustrated by something.. which is EVERYTHING these days. everything scares him, the door opening, his toys with music, me leaving the room. He has never had to see daddy leave for work before so now he sits at the door after hes gone and bangs on it crying every day. He actually wants to cuddle with me for once and is being super anti social with everyone else. and when all this isnt going on he is crying. non stop. yes i have gone to the dr and had him checked head to toe.. "he's fine"

He is actually kind of sleeping at night which is the only good thing right now.

I am pretty much at my wits end here and totally freaking out! I guess this is kind of my friday confessional, maybe you will get a funny one tomorrow

SO, bristol totally did this. My guess that it is a separation anxiety phase. He just wants his mommy! I would just keep feeding him attention and "This too shall pass." It's so hard I know. But when he is on the floor playing and you are trying to do stuff, just keep talking to him so that he knows you are still there, or keep him in sight of you! No two babies are alike, but this helped with Bristol, and her phase only lasted about a week. Good luck!

Happiest Toddler on the Block by Dr. Harvey Karp. SAVED MY LIFE! My son is so well behaved most of the time and we can end tantrums in seconds thanks to his special techniques. You can get the book online or the DVD. I got the book and it helped soooo much! I highly suggest it. Any doctor who can get a child to calmly sit and get a shot has to know what he's doing!
